Tea Time Tuesday - Black Is Beautiful

It is almost dark outside at 5 o'clock and so today we will use some beautiful black accessories for your tea table. Starting with this copper tablecloth with black velvet ornaments, which I bought in Portugal, but it is made in India. See the little tassel in the corner?

Imagine, now mum has looked at me and said I was fat. Yes, just as they put it unkindly. Since she is on a diet, it interferes with my weight suddenly.

Females Wearing Dunks

preview 02/23/2011 - Invitation to High Tea

Laura Ingull @ Decor to Adore

has a wonderful post wrote about the wedding tiaras of the English royal family. England is indeed in turmoil about the upcoming wedding of Prince William and Kate Middleton on 29 April 2011. Even if one can not speak much English, the pictures shown are spectacular and very romantic. My goodness, when I think about my own wedding. I had made my bridal wreath of silk flowers themselves, but it was pretty.

the occasion of the wedding Laura invites U.S. to its Blogger friends to a real high tea. And for those who live too far away now, there's a blog party with High Tea Table Cape on 02/23/2011.

of honor that I participate there. Maybe so anyone of you feels like to participate. The link you have so practiced at my party cookies already.

Here is the link to Laura's post:

first times I had to even look up what a high tea means. Good old Wikipedia of course, knew this. High Tea has nothing to do with the shelf shown, nor is it limited to high society. No, it is at the high table (dining table) celebrated and is like an early light supper. Moreover, it is served without cutlery, ie, the dishes are palatable (finger food on New Germany), so you will not thereby prevented from the conversation. Aha!

Since weddings in the spring anyway, so have their high season, will be spread over several posts in the spring all sorts of ideas for wedding reception, bridal jewelry and gifts to contribute here.

Bye
Johanna

Groping Boobs At Train

Gretchen fever

Here comes my new Gretchen:
It is the oldest daughter of my husband, who had an unavoidable operation! We all wish her a speedy recovery!

From the apricot-colored fabric, it has already picked out a large Gretchen bag that is worn hard. The new little Gretchen is out of the fabric, a shredded lace tablecloth and is of a handkerchief.

Drinking Yogi tea is that they like to drink and homeopathic cream, ...
you all a great weekend!

I got inspired to this post by the pink Azalea. I remembered, one is on the frontpage of a book about the paintings of Carl Larsson . And while we are waiting for the tea, I will give you a peek on his paintings.

Here you have a closer look. The painting (Azalea / Karin 1906) shows the living room with Carl's wife, Karin, and in the background stands a huge weaving loom. The room is bright and friendly and thats what Azaleas need. Furthermore they love it cool.

Here is another watercolor painting with the title "Court Yard and washhouse (Brita and the burden slit) 1900". It shows the winter in Sweden and his daughter Brittany is pushing a slit. You have already seen my china "Castle Garden" from Fürstenberg on a former blog post .

I hope you do not mind when I serve today Peppermint tea and some hearty nibbles. I gained a lot of weight during the Christmas time and so I want to eat not so much sweets. I prepared cucumber sandwiches with cream cheese and radishes. The recipe of my homemade bread you find here.
