I does not need much to make a cozy nest for yourself. Just take some things, you already have and make a tea table.

It does not take much to make himself a comfortable nest. Just take what you own, covering a tea table.

Heinrich Seidel was the author who wrote the novel: Leberecht chicken from 1882 to 1890. Live right (= correct live) (= chicken) Chicken is the funny name of the character in this novel. I am sorry there is no English translation available. But I will translate for you the backside text:

Leberecht is a connoisseur of the art of living with "talent for happiness". His little house in the Berlin of yesteryear is tiny, but he understands there to accommodate all that is seldom found in the villas of the rich: a chair for the lonely, a plate for every hungry and a warm smile for everyone who freezes the soul. And he know how to celebrate festivals, this Leberecht Chicken! With a happy heart and a sunny disposition he does not need much to serve his friends delicious: cheerful ideas, reflective thoughts and the romantic lighting is provided for free by an old friend, the moon. It's no wonder that in this idyllic setting on the edge of the great world the love appears - delicate and intimate like a petal from grandmother's autograph book.

Although it is oldfashioned so it is one of my favored books.
